Based on feedback from many of our users, we changed the way age limitations work for your events. Thanks to everyone for helping make Signup Anytime better! Here's how it works:
If you open your event (or create a new one), you'll notice a new "Age Limits" tab.
After opening the tab, you'll see 3 new fields.
The cutoff date is the date you want to use in calculating your registrants' ages. The minimum age is how young someone can be to register for this event. The maximum is how old they can be (it includes the maximum). For example, entering a cutoff date of 1/1/2009 and a minimum age of 10 and a maximum age of 12 will ensure that all registrants will be 10, 11, or 12 years old on January 1st, 2009. If you do not specify a cutoff date, no age restriction will be required. You may specify a minimum age, but no maximum, or vice versa. This will allow registrants to play up (or down).
Registrants on your site will not be allowed to register if they do not meet the qualifications. In addition, if you have more than one event with age restrictions, registrants will be allowed to enter their birth date before registering. After doing so, only events for which they meet the age criteria will be displayed.
